Independence Art Builds Community (IABC) is a series of free interactive workshops and networking opportunities designed to promote artistic growth in Queens and strengthen the borough's cultural community. Each event offers participants the chance to work directly with experts in the field, connect with other artists, and acquire valuable knowledge and resources for the development of their artistic careers.

DANCENOW QUEENS RAW FESTIVAL Sunday, April 13, 12pm-3pm DanceNow NYC is hosting a Raw Festival exclusively for Queens-based performing artists on April 13 at the Dance Theater Workshop studios. The Raw Festival studio series provides a no-tech platform for artists to be seen by DanceNow NYC producers and advisors as well as the public. In collaboration with Queens Council on the Arts, DanceNow NYC will select 15-25 Queens-based artists to perform works in progress.
