This hands-on workshop designed for artists and arts administrators will provide the opportunity to learn the basics of budgeting for use in grant applications and project planning. We will explore basic budget language and best practices for developing your budget along side your project narrative. Led by QCA's Grants and Resource Director, Lynn Lobell, attendees will also have the opportunity to engage in a Q&A and ask questions specific to their creative project proposals.

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR

As QCA's  Grants and Resource Director, Lynn Lobell has helped plan projects for QCA since 1999 and has also facilitated panels for the Queens Arts Fund. Lynn has served on grant maker discussion panels through out New York City, facilitated the Queens Poet Laureate Poet selection process for the Queens Borough President and has served as a consultant for NYFA's Dr. Hours for filmmakers.
