Sitting with the Garden is a collection of site-specific watercolor paintings by Che Min Hsiao, a Taiwanese painter based in Queens. Viewers will experience the beauty of the Queens Botanical Garden filtered through the artists’ memories of nature in Taiwan.

Try your hand at watercolor painting en plein air with Artist Che Min Hsiao. Participants will create watercolor studies on site. All supplies provided. Admission to the Garden not included in ticket price.

As part of Taiwan: A World of Orchids
Watch the artist as he creates site-specific watercolor paintings. Time and location TBD.
