On Wednesday, May 31, our Jamaica-based Creative Conversations was joined by Juvenal Reis, founder of Reis Studios and QCA Boardmember. Reis shared his experiences starting Reis studios and the pros and cons of creating artist work space in New York City. He also offered practical knowledge and strategies that artists can use to work together to accomplish their goals. Participants included visual artists, musicians, jewelry makers, and writers, many of whom are members of the newly-founded Southeast Queens Artist Alliance.
