The Forest Hills Chamber of Commerce has been successfully bringing business owners and residents of the Forest Hills community together for nearly 40 years. Leslie Brown president of the Forest Hills Chamber of Commerce is the founder and producer of Jazz Thursdays. The Jazz Thursdays Concerts bring a great energy and excitement to the area. The concerts have become a summertime institution that the audiences look forward to all year long. What makes Jazz Thursdays unique is that the concerts are not held in a park. They are held right in the heart of the business district on Forest Hills’ restaurant row. Jazz Thursdays strives to bring world class performers to each concert

Bruce “Big Daddy” Wayne is about to release his long awaited debut album much to the excitement of soul fans everywhere. The showmanship of such artists as Otis Redding, James Brown, Sam Cooke and Jackie Wilson help to shape his singing style and mastery of the stage to a an undeniable depth and realness few entertainers possess. Bruce “Big Daddy” Wayne has performed in nationally acclaimed venues such as: The Russian Tea Room, Jones Beach, The City Winery, Foxwoods Casino and has a weekly residency in BB Kings Blues Club with his Soul Revue.

Bruce is a native of Washington, DC and began singing on the street corners of Harlem at age 5. He has gone on to receive many awards including the Best Artist Award by Cabaret Clubs of New York Nicknamed the voice of soul, Bruce Wayne first achieved national acclaim singing with gospel groups. Janelle “Lady Jae” Jones was born and raised in Augusta, Georgia. She began singing at six years old in a gospel group, the “Singing Angels”. The group went on to the historical Caldwell Chapel and later moved to Israelite Baptist Church. Jae has now set her focus on performing R&B, Soul, Jazz and Blues around New York City.
