KOTRA (Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency) and the Queens Council on the Arts (QCA) are proud to announce the 'Queens Emerging Artists Business Prize.'  This design competition hopes to become a permanent platform for the best and brightest young artists in Queens, and to connect them with companies who hope to grow their brands with visually striking artwork.

Unience, a large and reputable manufacturer, is sponsoring the contest this time. They manage the Alfrex brand and their line of flame-resistant aluminum composite construction panels. For this contest, High School to Art School Alumni are being asked to submit their designs to improve the marketing materials being used by the Alfrex brand.

The participating contestants are as follows; Alex Li, Shanjida Kibria, Tareque Powaday, Clara Jeong, Adriana Hung, Sophia Eichholz and Yuricik Canas (all are alumni of QCA’s High School to Art School Program).

The winner of the competition will receive $3,000 in scholarship funds. Design submissions are due on November 16th at 4pm, and the award ceremony will be held on November 29th at Queens Council on the Arts.
