“What is it about cancer that makes people laugh? Nothing you say?
Maybe this new play by Anna Capunay can make you dance, laugh and think about your choices involving cancer treatments. So let's go back in time to Queens, NY in the 1990s when you, your family and your friends were dancing to new and classic salsa, merengue and Latin Pop!”

Anna Capunay is a proud Queens, NY native whose previous plays have been adapted to the screen: Cowl Girl, a television pilot to be screened in November 2017 at the Chicago International Reel Shorts Film Fest; A Cat’s Tale, an independent feature and winner of Best Ensemble Cast and Best Director from the Best Actors’ Film Festival, San Francisco 2016. The film made its debut at the Chelsea Film Festival in NYC, October 2016.

This project was funded by the Queens Arts Fund.
