On Thursday, April 13, 6:00-8:00pm, QCA presents “Under the Hood,” a professional development workshop series where artists can learn the fundamentals of the business of art. The third in the "Under the Hood" series, this workshop will focus on helping artists develop project narratives for their professional development and proposal writing. Artists will learn how to communicate their arts project plans in ways that are attractive to potential funders and investors. Facilitators will include QCA’s Hoong Yee Lee Krakauer and Molaundo Jones.

During the presentation, attendees will have the chance to experience critiques of up to 3 project narratives in an open forum. The first 3 people to register can submit their project narrative for public review by QCA staff. Project plan submissions must be made by April 10, 2017 at 5pm to ArtService@queenscouncilarts.org with Subject title UNDER THE HOOD: PROJECT NARRATIVE.

Attendees will have the chance to ask questions and also share their project plans.
