The Malba Arts Project is a collaborative arts project taking place Summer 2017 in my childhood home that temporarily transforms private into public as a means to introduce arts and discourse into the neighborhood of Malba, Queens. Participating artists will receive room and board, an artist stipend, studio space, and a unique experience. Residencies will culminate with a public viewing of the artist’s work, an artist’s discussion, and dinner reception. The Malba Arts Project is funded in part by the Queens Council on the Arts. Thanks QCA!
