Join us for the closing reception of the QCA Arthotel Residency. Erin Treacy, QCA resident artist, will be concluding her residency by exhibiting her past work and pieces created during her time at the hotel.
Using abstract and impressionistic forms, Erin Treacy works to deconstruct our sense of space and movement, allowing color and shape to be our only guide. The fluidity of time and thought guide, interfere and monitor everything we do. Rather than run from these complexities she plays with them, exposing the potential for uneasy balance in each piece of artwork.
