FOUR ACTS @ FIVE SETS < TWO HOURS
QCA has partnered with Microssessions and Spaceworks to present the cultural diversity of Queens. This unique event will preview musician and composer Landon Knoblock’s Artist Commissioning Program project, which will give A Voice for the Voiceless by creating a collection of musical compositions inspired by and developed with homeless children in NYC public schools.
Microsessions is speed dating for live music. Each act will play four 15-minute sets in separate rooms as four audience groups rotate through. Then, the audience groups break up and everyone listens to whomever they want for a longer 20 to 30 minute set.
Landon will be performing alongside Spacework’s Tom Shaner and Microsessions-curated bands Babetown and The Flying Machine Collective.
