Join us for an innovative evening of music discovery! We’re back for a fourth round of Microsessions NYC at Spaceworks in Long Island City.
Born in Austin, TX, in February 2016, Microsessions is a new way to experience live music: four acts play five sets in under two hours -- speed dating for live music, a house concert on steroids, a tapas bar of your next favorite bands.
You'll be in one of four audience groups that rotate through four rooms, listening to 15-minute sets by each of four acts along the way. We’ll close with a longer set (20 to 30 minutes) where you can listen to whomever you'd like.
All done in 2 hours with complimentary beer!
Spells and Curses will represent the Spaceworks Queens community alongside Microsessions-curated bands Elle Pierre and kamryn.
And we've partnered again with the Queens Council on the Arts, which will be represented by Artist Commissioning Program Awardee Neil Padukone, and his project 'Salsa Masala.'
