Join 2019 QAF grantee, Luzia Castaneda in a self portrait workshop for the community

Presented in conjunction with the artist’s exhibition, “Woman’s Rebirth,” on view March 7 - April 7 at The Plaxall Gallery, 5-25 46th Ave, Long Island City, NY 11101

Woman’s Rebirth, a series that consists of seven acrylic paintings representing the transition process in our lives and a free Contemporary Self Portrait Workshop for the community. Woman’s Rebirth represents the moment we renounce the past and are reborn into a new life. Rebirth is inevitable for those who pursue their inner truth and allows for the freedom of being who we are.
