Libby Mislan a 2019 New Work Grantee, Presents “QUEENS FLORA: A Poetry Concert at Ridgewood Reservoir”

Poet Libby Mislan has spent the past six months researching and writing about the plants of the Ridgewood Reservoir, an abandoned water supply turned nature preserve that sits on the Brooklyn-Queens border. Investigating themes around connecting to the natural world as a city dweller, climate change, and colonialism, Libby's new poetic works will be accompanied by music and dance.
