Do you find yourself working in silo? Is thoughtful feedback on your works-in-progress scarce? Are you looking for a community of creative thinkers and artists to join?
LAB is a dedicated creative space where artists and cultural community members like you can gather for portfolio reviews, collaboration, critiques of works-in-progress, and networking.
LAB provides a unique opportunity to share your creative process with fellow artists and new audiences and to give you valuable feedback and insights with which to hone your work.
Engage the community with your work at LAB! If you are interested in participating in the LAB program, please send a one-page proposal- detailing what you would like to present, how this experience may benefit your work, and how it will benefit the community- to email@example.com with the Subject Line: LAB Proposal.
"QCA has hosted literary events and multidisciplinary artist mash-up performances for the community. I have grown exponentially from a fledgling writer three years ago, to hosting and curating my first show at QCA, being published in three publications, being a featured reader at various events, and won my first grant. My organization "The Enchanted Goddess: Literary Creative Arts Series" took flight, under the tutelage of QCA's Hoong Yee Lee Krakauer- a laser-focused, wildly creative and warm mentor to me and so many other Queens Artists!" ~ Joan Willette, Queens-based Writer
