Job Opportunities

Unity Stage Company www.unitystage.org has multiple part-time openings for Musical Theater Teaching Artists (TAs) who will join a team providing after-school musical theater to 7 schools in Queens and Manhattan during 2018/2019 school year. Each TA will conduct sessions at a minimum of 2 schools per week, possibly 3. We're looking for Musical Theater Directors with EXPERIENCE working with young elementary school-aged children. Must play piano (or guitar) very well. Applicants should have strong improv & theater games teaching skills. Must have experience teaching musical theater to kids in grades K-5. Interviews are taking place week of Monday May 14. These are freelance, part-time positions. Compensation $40-$50 per hour. *We are not seeking dancers at this time.
